Indonesian Food Fun Fact #1 : Takir Pandan

Takir is one of Indonesian way to fold leaves into small plate. Takir usually made of banana leaf or pandan leaf. The using of pandan as takir infuse fragrance into the food. There’s four Indonesian traditional foods using pandan takir that made of the same main ingredients, which is coconut milk, sugar (granulated or palm sugar); rice flour, and a pinch of salt. All the food not only using the same main ingredient and covered in pandan takir but also cooked with the same method, steamed.
